Conceived as a dhurrie, the Matiz rug from Nanimarquina reinterprets traditional weaving techniques by shifting the focus from pre-dyed yarns to a more experimental approach. Each rug begins with a handwoven base in a single colour. Once completed, a contrasting tone is applied through a manual dyeing process, allowing the pigment to interact organically with the woven surface.
